Jai Carey is one of Arrow’s Internal Sales Representatives. Get to know Jai and discover his value-add in this quick Q&A.
1. Tell us about your role as an ISR.
I create, price and configure quotes quickly and accurately. I push myself to take this a step further by understanding the technology we sell so I can qualify more deals. My goal is to understand the pain points of our partners and vendors, and to develop solutions that help them overcome those pain points.
2. What sets Arrow apart when it comes to selling NetApp solutions?
We understand the NetApp technology and product portfolio and can identify how businesses can leverage the technology to achieve their objectives. As a side note, our NetApp Pre-sales Engineers are the best in the industry.
3. How do you spend your time outside of Arrow?
I’m working on a few different entrepreneurial projects. I am currently creating an up-and-coming PC game which is exciting. I not only code the game, but I also focus on marketing and publicity focused around our market segment. I create and manage and social media channels, and I lead our small team of four!
4. Why do you think partners should work with Arrow for NetApp solutions?
We are dedicated to quickly providing our partners with accurate quotes. With the help of our Sales Engineers, we configure NetApp solutions that work for the end user and take away the risk of incorrect solutions as we all know that is an expensive fix. This gives time back to our partners, so they can focus on winning more business rather than the back-end administrative duties.
5. If you weren’t working in IT, what would you do?
I would like to work in either business analytics, consultation or professional services, but I love the quick pace and evolution of IT.
