Phil Rettenmaier has been with Arrow for less than a year, but he has been quick to make a strong impression among colleagues and industry peers alike.
Phil has an infectious optimism that’s hard to beat and, what’s more, he has a way of bringing out the best in people, both professionally and personally.
Out of the office, Phil can be found coaching under 10s’ soccer or planning family outings at Cronulla beach. In the office, he leads Arrow’s dedicated HPE team.
Soon after Phil joined Arrow as HPE Business Manager, he finely tuned Arrow’s dedicated HPE team to maximise our partners’ ability to unlock greater profitability from HPE solutions in every category, be it servers, storage or networking.
The team comprises some of the best talent in the industry and offers tailored support in pre- and post-sales, marketing and business development, and operations and analytics.
Phil says the team services both the mid-market and enterprise channel partners by providing support for the entire sales lifecycle, from solution design to delivery and installation and beyond with our support and services.
Our HPE team provides partners with the skills, resources, expertise and funds they need to accelerate time to market and maximise the HPE opportunity.
With more than 20 years’ experience in ICT, Phil brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Arrow’s HPE business. Prior to joining Arrow, he worked as the National Sales Manager at HPE, where he built trusted relationships in the channel from the ground up.
Before this, he was HPE’s Business Distribution Manager – a role that saw him responsible for partnership planning, strategy, engagement and delivery.
What drew Phil to Arrow was the relationship he forged with the executive team during his days at HPE.
“I immediately got a good feeling about the people; they were professional, prepared and, most importantly, they came together as a team,” he says.
This element of teamwork echoes in Arrow’s HPE team and the support services they deliver.
